Angelia is a planet in the Frontier. It is Valkyrie's home planet, and was featured in Titanfall's multiplayer map Angel City.
Description
Angelia is the fifth planet from the sun in the Wichita System, placing it in the same system as Gridiron.[1] The planet has stark karst mountains, lush foliage, and a temperate climate.
History
Angelia was discovered and colonized some time in the 2300s, along with the rest of the Frontier. Prior to the start of the Frontier War, the IMC instituted martial law in Angel City, and built massive walls to divide the city into distinct districts.[2] In 2710, Angel City's harbor district became a warzone when the Militia arrived to extract Robert "Barker" Taube and were met with resistance from the IMC. Following the battle, Barker would establish the Angel City Elite, his own band of mercenaries. Some time after the end of the Frontier War, Angel City's population dropped significantly.[3]
