Launch Royale is a Limited Time Mode introduced at the beginning of 
Season 23.
Details
- Gameplay is restored to its state at the game's launch, with some exceptions. This includes:
- The first iteration of Kings Canyon.
- Legend abilities and weapon statistics as they were upon release.
- Only the default Legends, as well as Octane and Wattson, are playable.
- Original Legend icons.
- Game features inaccurate to the game's launch state include:
- Octane and Wattson as playable Legends.
- The HAVOC Rifle being available, as well as the L-STAR EMG in Care Packages.
- Updated ping wheel and voice lines, such as for breaking an enemy's Shield.
- The presence of the Quip Wheel, as well as later-added cosmetics such as Emotes and Holosprays.
- Mirage's ability to create Decoys while skydiving.
Trivia
- While the game mode was active, the title screen and lobby background (while Launch Royale is selected) were restored to their original appearance.
