Linh My Vo, more well known as Rhapsody is a Legend first introduced in Season 2 of Apex Legends Mobile. A famous DJ from Solace, she entered the Apex Games under the banner of the technology giant Pythas to free her family from debt.
Lore
Background
Linh My Vo was born on Komma City of Solace to an AI engineer working for Pythas Inc. Growing up with a love of music, she rose to become a popular DJ. Her mother also constructed for her Rowdy, a small speaker drone.
At some point, Linh’s mother uncovered hidden company secrets. In retaliation, Pythas fired her and placed her family into a large false debt. As a result, Linh and her mother were forced to move to the dangerous Neon Dunes nightlife district in the city of Kómma. While there, Linh’s popularity spiked, with the unrest and discontent in Neon Dunes helping to inspire her rebellious music.
After a while, Linh’s popularity grew to the point that she was invited to perform in the wealthy section of Kómma. She accepted this invitation, planning to inject a virus developed by her mother into Pythas' systems and erase their debt. However, the virus spread out of control, ravaging the finances of the district. With rumors spreading that she was to blame for this collapse, Linh decided to sign up for the Apex Games under Pythas' name to pay off her family's debt.[2][3]
