okay. So yes I created your your page. I just didn’t want to clutter up your profile any more. But, onto my statement. Dude! Where did you get it? Your recent edits on Crypto are great! Thank you!

I get most of my datamined info from that1miningguy, most of the leaks come from him and he recently discovered a couple of legends that the devs left in the game describing the next couple of legends.

Dude here typo how to fix?

Krlst4l (talk) 13:44, 19 September 2019 (UTC)

What is the typo? Default is spelled the right way. Was it something I am missing?

Azzazin (talk) 16:05, 19 September 2019 (UTC)AzzazinAzzazin (talk) 16:05, 19 September 2019 (UTC)

"Typo" was the incorrect Base Magazine size.
Metafysika (talk) 17:21, 19 September 2019 (UTC)
If you're on visual edit, you need to select the infobox then click edit on the little dialogue box that will appear on the lower right corner. Find MagazineSize and edit the value there. If you're on edit source, just find MagazineSize and replace the value with the correct one. Made the correction already though. Thanks for the heads up~

Hello, I simply wanted to change the link to Kandyrew's talk with the devs on Revenant's abilities to include a timestamp for the segment to which the reference pertains. Here's the link with a timestamp. https://youtu.be/12dxEL3J_CQ?t=1503

Made the change, its easier to make the change on references like that when you use source edit. Thanks for the contrib! :)

Hi I don't know how this chat works and I'm not good at editing neither, I just saw there are some skins where picture is missing, so I could send someone the needed pictures if it helps.

Editor not Working

I'm trying to edit a page, but I get stuck on a full loading gauge, even though it's done loading and it shows my editing tools... Help?

Reply translate

Hello, thank you for your help answer. so I don't need sub domains to translate this wiki? because I saw both polsky and brazil have sub domains -Wong Kentir Talk [God] 16:17, 26 January 2021 (UTC)

For the meantime that is what you can do~ The Wiki Manager (Mr Pie 5 (talkcontribslogsblock log)) can set-up a subdomain for Indonesian once you have a couple of pages and the main page translated.
Metafysika (talk) 16:57, 26 January 2021 (UTC)
Thankyou. How do I translate weapon page title into Indonesian "Senjata"? -Wong Kentir Talk [God] 09:27, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
The guidelines say "Display Titles will be translated once the translation process has been officialized by a Staff Member. Until this moment, editors will need use the "DisplayTitle/languagecode" model."
For the meantime you may need to manually point mentions of Senjata to the Weapon/id page (eg. [[Weapons/id | Senjata]]).

Potential merge/partnership with Titanfall Wiki

Hey there, I'm an administrator over on the Titanfall Wiki (titanfall.fandom.com), and I wanted to talk about a potential merge between our wikis. As you know, Apex Legends is a part of the greater Titanfall universe, and Gamepedia is now owned by Fandom—all functioning under UCP and FandomDesktop—so I was curious if you'd at all be interested in merging our wikis together? Our wiki hasn't detailed Apex Legends as well as yours have, but we're attempting to detail the game as much as possible and we don't necessarily want to carbon copy your wiki since we're on the same platform.

Since the games take place in the same universe and Respawn likes to create an abundance of intertwining lore, I personally find this to be a very fitting option. Of course, all the content here will be migrated over and any administrators will retain their rights. I'm also looking into having our wiki become the official Titanfall wiki, and I'd love to have you guys be a part of it if all goes well.

This goes without saying, you guys have built a great wiki here and merging can be pretty tedious, so if you guys aren't interested, then I completely understand. After all, they are two separate games despite taking place in the same universe. If a merge isn't in your interest, then I would like to recommend forming a partnership together; essentially we just link each other on our main pages and work a bit more in tandem when it comes to redirecting users to respective articles.

In the end, I still believe a merge would be the best route, but if you'd rather have a partnership (or neither!), that's fine as well. I appreciate any consideration! Thanks! NinjaFatGuy (talk) 23:24, 3 June 2021 (UTC)

Safety's off, weapon's free

Hi. You undid my changes quite sometime ago, saying the voice line change from "Safety's off, weapon's free" to "Safeties off, weapons free!" is wrong and makes "no sense".

It might seem wrong if you're not familiar with military terms. Have a look at a United States Department Of Army, Rifle and Carbine handbook: https://fas.org/irp/doddir/army/tc3-22-9.pdf

Page 25:

Tactical method of fire control given by a leader

WEAPONS HOLD : Engage only if engaged or ordered to engage

WEAPONS TIGHT : Engage only if target is positively identified as enemy

WEAPONS FREE : Engage targets not positively identified as friendly.

For "Safeties off" I couldn't find any material to back up the claim, so that one is up to you.

Hopefully this is enough to prove that it is indeed an order, and you'll fix it to the correct form. Cheers.

Legends' articles style

I feel like for all the legends who are both on the main game & mobile just add all the things for the articles. Instead of like for example: Loba, Loba (character) & Loba (mobile), where it all can just be Loba and everything is all in just in that one article to make it easier for all of us. Just divide it into sections to make it all easier instead of trying to find it in different articles. MRob2002 (talk) 13:04, 23 July 2022 (UTC).

The community has already voted for separating those into their own articles. We're just following community consensus.

New Wiki Representative

Hi there - I’m ReverieCode, and I was just assigned to this wiki to be your new Wiki Representative.

I’m aware that OishiiOnIno introduced himself (on Discord) as a temporary replacement for your previous Wiki Rep to make sure you still had assistance on hand, but I'll be a more permanent replacement sticking with the wiki from now on. I know all the WR changes can be a lot to deal with, so my apologies on any confusion caused by that - our team has been through tons of restructuring lately to figure out who should help which wiki. Hopefully it will be simpler from now on - I’m glad to be here and will be exploring the wiki (will confess this is a wholly new wiki for me, so I'm excited to get into it).

If you have anything at all to report, any questions to make (or if you know of any user who does), please feel free to send them my way, and I’ll do my best to help out. –ReverieCode <staff/> 09:04, 22 August 2022 (UTC)

Hi, I am Fandom's new Senior Community Manager for Gaming

Hello there! My name is Jieyang and I'm going around saying hi to admins in the community. I joined about two weeks ago but you'll be seeing me around more in the future.

You can learn more about me through my blog. Feel free to drop me a message on Discord as well! - Itsjieyang (talk) 15:11, 27 September 2022 (UTC)

Hi! Welcome to the wiki! I appreciate the gesture, looking forward to working with you in the future!

Discussions

Hey there. I have a quick question - does the Apex Legends Wiki have any interest in the Discussions feature that is available for Fandom wikis?

Gamepedia wikis couldn't have it before, but now it's in the process of becoming available. Fandom is only going to enable it on wikis that ask for it to be enabled - so it's still optional, but possible to do if any GP wiki is curious about it. (Article Comments and Message Walls I believe will also be available for optional use soon.)

If you haven't visited Discussions on another wiki before, this help page goes over what they are. Some wikis like them, others don't use them as much - it's a bit of a mixed bag. It does create an easier space to talk on the wiki itself, which I think GP didn't have before, but it's totally up to admins and the community whether that's a good idea, of course.

If you'd like it enabled, please let me know - I can also answer questions if there are any. Thank you! –ReverieCode <staff/> 09:30, 17 November 2022 (UTC)

Hi thank you for letting me know about this. We'll be having some discussions regarding including it and will update you asap if we choose to have the feature enabled. Thank you!
Metafysika (talk) 22:13, 17 November 2022 (UTC)
Additional question. Would this feature supersede the main page we currently use? We just had a redesign of our main page and it would be a waste if it would replace it. Thanks again.
Metafysika (talk) 22:21, 17 November 2022 (UTC)
I just realized I totally missed that last message and it's been a long time now haha - my apologies on that, I need to follow your talk page so I get notifications after my own messages. But regarding what you asked, no, the Discussions/comments/walls don't change anything in the wiki's main page. I think the only major difference you would notice with Discussions is that the top posts appear in Fandom's "Fan Feed" area at the bottom of the page, but nothing really on the main page's content area.
I didn't see too much interest when this was raised on Discord, so it was never enabled for the wiki. If that changes at any point in the future though, feel free to ping me and I can enable it. (Mainly, Fandom isn't enabling these on former Gamepedia wikis unless the communities confirm that they 100% want to use it).
I should mention that the "require all contributors to log in" option did become available in the AdminDashboard as well - so if there's ever a need for that, it can be toggled on by admins (something GP wikis didn't use to have). –ReverieCode <staff/> 12:07, 27 February 2023 (UTC)

Shared images

Hello. I am the founder of the Russian Apex Legends Wiki and I would like to ask if I can connect a shared file storage (Help:Shared images) from your wiki to my wiki? --Anti Sonic Forces (обсуждение) 13:25, 23 November 2022 (UTC)

Sure! We're currently changing the color of our icons to Black though so please take that into account when making the theming for your wiki.
Metafysika (talk) 22:17, 25 November 2022 (UTC)
Thank you very much! It won't hurt my design, don't worry! --Anti Sonic Forces (обсуждение) 17:27, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
