The Resurrection Launch Trailer, advertised as Kill Code Part 2, is an animated short released on July 31, 2023, to promote Season 18.svg Season 18.

Synopsis

Continuing from Kill Code Part 1 and Kill Code Interlude 3, Loba requested Crypto's help to extract data from Revenant's eyes, which she took during the trip to Salvo. As Lifeline, Mad Maggie, and Valkyrie entered Crypto's workspace, Crypto explained what they had pulled on Salvo was the code for Hammond's safety protocol, which is used on transporters to move important assets; this made the group realized that both Hammond and Torres Silva wee after the same thing. With a peek on Revenant's eye, Loba realized that Hammond and Torres is after Revenant's head, and revealed the armored bunker is actually a Revenant factory.

Meanwhile, Revanant felt himself losing control, as one moment he was in his own body, while at another moment he was looking through the eye Loba took and observing the Legends trip discussing their findings from Salvo, before he was forced to re-experience his past memory. Some were from various Apex matches, which glitched and flow from one to another randomly every time he was hurt or activated his totem. Some were from his past assassinations, such as that of Loba's parents. He also recalled his defeat at Loba when she gloated at him of how she allegedly sent the head to Gridiron, which eventually led to his deal with Valk to find his head. Eventually, he recalled being held in a lab - along with his organic head - and was experimented by Hammond's scientists. While he managed to break free and killed the guards, his source code was once again transported away to his frustration.

Loba was defensive regarding what had happened, stating that she had made sure the head was sent away. Lifeline and Maggie realized that by having the head, Torres could control Revenant, and whatever his purpose was not good, as it may allowed Torres to turn Revenant into his own personal assassin. Unfortunately, Crypto was unable to discover the head's current location, except that it had travelled around a lot. Realizing that they still needed to find Revenant's head, the four female Legends left the room to find the whereabouts of the head, leaving Crypto alone. Suddenly, Revenant burst in through a vent with a new chassis and lifted Crypto up by his neck, angrily asking what was happening to himself.
