Phase Driver is a location on Olympus that was added in Season 12.
Lore
Background
The Phase Driver is a phase tech device that was installed on Olympus for the purpose of relocating the entire city if needed. However, its programming was lackluster at best, and the systems maintaining it lacked even a basic firewall.
Season 12
During Mad Maggie's inaugural match, Torres Silva was able to take advantage of the Phase Driver's vulnerability to hack into its systems and attempt to drop Olympus on the city of Malta. However, the emergency turbine systems managed to keep the city afloat before it could crash.[1] Silva placed the blame for this on Maggie, establishing her as a "villain" in his ploy to take over the Syndicate.[2]
