Genesis was a Collection Event during Season 9 of Apex Legends that began on June 29th, 2021 and concluded on July 13th, 2021.

Legacy Maps

Legacy Maps is a takeover of the normal Play Apex game mode, where the normal Season 9 maps in rotation (Olympus MU1 and World's Edge MU2) are replaced with the original incarnations of Kings Canyon and World's Edge.

Additionally, Skull Town is an Arenas map for the duration of the event, and unlike the other maps, it stayed for 60 minutes at a time.

This event continued to utilize the LTM challenge Badge system.

The Genesis Collection was a set of 24 cosmetics exclusive to the event. The collection cosmetics were obtained by:

Purchasing event-exclusive Genesis packs for 700 which will give out one collection cosmetic and two cosmetics from the normal loot table.
Unlocking using 2,400 for Legendary items and 800 for Epic items.
By direct purchase from the Store: 1,800 for Legendary items and 1,000 for Epics.
