The March 29, 2022 Patch is a major patch.
New content
- New event:
Warriors - runs from March 29, 2022 to April 12, 2022. - New
Arenas map: Drop-Off. - Control LTM returns.
- New Heirloom Set for Crypto.
Balance changes
- Removed the
Turbo Charger from Purple Tier weapons - Players have to get their Ratings up to Gold Tier in order to get it.
Double Tap burst fire delay reduced from 0.475 to 0.375.- Double Tap recoil improvements.
- Ammo reserves increased from 120 to 140.
Hop-ups
- Increased spawn rate for
Hammerpoint Rounds and 
Kinetic Feeder. - Reduced spawn rate for
Deadeye's Tempo, 
Shatter Caps, and 
Boosted Loader.
Quality of life
- Added
tracker for "Battle Royale Wins".
Bug fixes
- Fixed issue where players would not be able to see or select spawn points on the Spawn Menu after dying while stimmed as Octane.
- Several crash fixes to help with mode stability.
- Fixed a UI bug where Mythic ammo icon appears on non-crate weapons when auto-reloaded.
- Fix for ammo disappearing from Rampart's mobile
Sheila when firing.
- Fixed bug where players would not receive assist credit when damaging Gibraltar's
arm shield.
- Fix for bug when Crypto's animation would glitch after using a finisher while in death protection.
- Fix for cases where Crypto can throw out multiple
drones.
- Fixed bug where damaging MRVN would count towards upgrading your
Evo Shield.
- Fix for cases where Pathfinder is able to
grapple enemies indefinitely.
- Fix for cases where players are able to reset Wraith's
Tactical cooldown by ending her phasing while entering an Ash's 
Portal.
- Fix for visual inconsistencies in Bloodhound's
Cyber Hunt skin.
- Fix for cases where Wattson's
Ultimate's shield regen would work through some windows in Command Center.
- Fix for a bug where music could cut off at the start of a match in Habitat.
- Fix for visual bug where Legend abilities would stay onscreen during a match.
- Fix for cases where players can be launched by Gravity Cannon while below it.
- Other
- Fixed frame jitter that could appear while spectating a match.
- Fixed issue where
Precision Choke was disabled by default on Golden Triple Take. - Fixed issue where players could leave at the start of a match without being penalized.
- Fixed hack where players were able to duel-wield weapons.
- Fixed bug where players were unable to perform Ash's skydive emote.
- Fixed bug where the Leaver Penalty warning would always show two minutes regardless of how many times you've disconnected.
- Various fixes to charging systems in weapons to work more consistently and by design.
- Fix for cases where players could remove bullet spread when using ziplines.
- Fix for visual inconsistencies in reactive weapons after activating.
Undocumented changes
- Mistakenly reduced Rampart's Mobile Minigun "Sheila" spin-up time from 1.75 to 1.25 seconds. This was reverted in the March 30, 2022 Patch.
- All of the Battle Royale-related Stat Trackers have been changed, rather than "adding" a Battle Royale Wins one:
- "Kills", "Wins", and "Damage Done" trackers now have a "BR" prefix before them.
- The "Season X" prefix in seasonal trackers got replaced by the symbol of that Season.
- Some trackers have errors (e.g. "
BP Wins", trackers with missing "BR" prefix). Fixed in the April 11, 2022 Patch.
- Cosmetics are now ordered as follows:
- Content Pack cosmetics, sorted by release order
Recolors, sorted alphabetically- Event cosmetics, sorted by release order
- Thematic Event cosmetics found in
Apex Packs, sorted by release order - Default cosmetics found in Apex Packs, Store Exclusive cosmetics, and third party services cosmetics such as Prime Gaming Loot and PlayStation+ Packs, sorted alphabetically.
- Due to The Williams Sendoff, the Firing Range has been updated to host three different challenges involving the G7 Scout, Bocek Compound Bow, and P2020.
- The platform introduced in the March 09, 2021 Patch has also been removed.
- Wattson's
fences and Pathfinder's 
ziplines may not be able to be placed on certain areas of Storm Point due to a bug. Fixed in the April 11, 2022 Patch. - Ash's Ugh… she's going to gloat about this all day.
Kill Quip has been changed to She's going to gloat about this all day.. - Time left before a map changes is now positioned in the top right corner of the selected game mode, rather than the bottom right corner.
- Unlocked more dive trails colors for Battle Royale. Previously, these dive trail colors were only available in game modes such as Shadowfall.
