Leviathan is a planet in the Frontier. It is the location of Titanfall's multiplayer map Boneyard.
Description
Leviathan is the third planet from the sun in the Badlands System.[2] It is a dangerous desert planet overrun with flyers, prowlers, and leviathans, which the planet is named for. Leviathan bones can be found littered across the planet, and many residents use them as building materials for their homes.[3]
History
Leviathan was discovered and colonized some time in the 2300s, along with the rest of the Frontier. The IMC used the planet for testing repulsor tower technology to keep wildlife away from settlements, but their research centers were abandoned around 2680.[1] In the IMC's absence, the planet's locals learned to get by without repulsors by camouflaging their homes.[3] In 2710, the planet was the site of a battle between the IMC and the Militia, who were raiding the old research centers to learn how the repulsors worked.[4]
