Vault

The exterior of a Vault.

Vaults are locked rooms full of high-tier items found on certain maps. They can be unlocked with a Vault Key.

Function

• There are four Vaults on World's Edge, and one on Olympus (referred to as The Bridge but otherwise identical in function).
• Opening a Vault requires the use of a Vault Key.
  • On World's Edge, Vault Keys can be found in Cargo Bots with red lights visible on their Loot Rollers.
  • On Olympus, the Bridge Keycard can be found somewhere in close to one of the Corpses inside The Icarus.
• Players with a key can interact with the door to open it. Doing this takes 3 seconds and leaves the doors permanently open.
• The vault contains 10 items, primarily Level 3 with some Level 4 items.
• Certain legends can interact with Vaults differently:
  • Crypto can use his Surveillance Drone to open a Vault if he has a key in his inventory.
  • Loba can use her Black Market Boutique to steal a single item from the Vault. Doing this causes the Vault sound alarms.
    • She can open the Vaults' doors without a Vault Key.
  • Alter can only place Void Passage from or to the Vaults after the Vaults' doors are opened.
