Care Packages, also called Supply Drops or Airdrops, are high risk, high reward lootable containers that are sent into the arenas periodically. They contain three items, and each slot has its own loot table to draw items from. Care Packages are the only possible loot source for Supply Drop Weapons.
Battle Royale
During a Battle Royale match, four Care Packages will be announced to all players as they move through the various Ring closures, defined as Rounds. When one or more Care Packages spawn, they are marked with tan-colored circles on the minimap and, upon landing, they emit a beam of light of the same tan color until they are opened, allowing all players to see the exact location where the Package dropped.

Items
The center slot item can draw from one of two pools. In Round 1, there is a 50% chance for a Supply Drop Weapon to spawn and a 50% chance for a Jackpot Item. In Round 2, these chances are 75% for a weapon and 25% for an item. In Round 3, a weapon is guaranteed to spawn.

Arenas
During an 
Arenas match, one Care Package is dropped into the arena every Round. Its location is marked as soon as the round begins, and it lands 12 seconds before the Ring closes in Round 1. Unlike in Battle Royale, Arenas Care Packages will not always spawn inside the next Ring.
Items
An Arenas Care Package only contains Fully Kitted Weapons with some of their respective Ammo, and the weapon and its tier change based on the Round. Round 9 will always spawn Supply Drop Weapons instead. All weapons have the same chance to spawn.
