Banner Card
Banner Cards (also called Respawn Banners, Player Banners, or simply Banners) are a special item which allow squadmates to be respawned.
Function
In Battle Royale, any player who is killed leaves behind a Banner Card which only their squadmates can pick up. The Banner Card can only be retrieved within 90 seconds of the player's death, and is instantly acquired when interacting with their Death Box. Banner Cards do not function like typical items; they do not take up space in the inventory, but instead instantly enables respawning for that player. When Banner Cards have been collected, the remaining squad members can use a Respawn Beacon or Mobile Respawn Beacon to call that player back into the match. If one player is dead, either remaining squadmate can respawn them, regardless of who picked up the Banner Card. If two players are dead, both Banner Cards are used simultaneously when respawning them.
Dead Players can ping their banner cards if they wish their cards to be retrieved and respawned.
If the Banner Card is expired, the game will prompt Squadmate the closest Replicator to craft the Banner Cards.
Squadmate who are still survive in the match able to craft Banner Cards using a Replicator, bypassing the 90-second countdown entirely. Alternatively, Crypto can use his
drone to recover squadmates' Banner Cards remotely,
Loba can use
Black Market Boutique to retrieve those cards and
Alter can retrieve them thru her passive ability -
Gift From The Rift.
If the Support legends retrieve the card, they will gain a
Mobile Respawn Beacon in their Survival Slot.
