Fully Kitted Weapon
Apex Legends content
This article concerns the subject and the content related to it in Apex Legends. For the subject in Apex Legends Mobile, see Fully Kitted Weapon (Mobile). |
Fully Kitted Weapons are weapons equipped with all their possible attachments which cannot be removed, except for the Optic. If the weapon is dropped, the Optic stays on the weapon. There is no performance difference between a Fully Kitted Weapon and a weapon whose same attachments have been manually equipped.
Fully Kitted Weapons are tiered Common (★), Rare (★★), Epic (★★★), and Legendary (★★★★), with the rarity marking the level of the non-Optic attachments a weapon has. Legendary Fully Kitted Weapons whose attachments lack a Legendary version default to having Epic ones, for example an R-99 SMG will have a Laser Sight equipped. As for the Optic, Fully Kitted Weapons carry the following:
- Assault Rifles are equipped with
1x HCOG "Classic" when Common,
2x HCOG "Bruiser" otherwise;
- Submachine Guns are equipped with
1x HCOG "Classic";
- Light Machine Guns are equipped with
1x HCOG "Classic" when Common,
2x HCOG "Bruiser" otherwise;
- Marksman Weapons are equipped with
2x HCOG "Bruiser" when Common or Rare,
2x-4x Variable AOG otherwise;
- Sniper Rifles are equipped with
6x Sniper when Common or Rare,
4x-8x Variable Sniper otherwise;
- Shotguns are equipped with
1x HCOG "Classic";
- Pistols are equipped with
1x HCOG "Classic".
Due to their different rarities coloring them with a specific color both outside and inside the inventory, Fully Kitted Weapons may also be referred to as White, Blue, Purple, or Gold Weapons.
Distribution
Battle Royale
In Battle Royale, all Fully Kitted Weapons are Legendary. Five weapons are selected each Season to be Fully Kitted Weapons, and have a 80% chance to spawn in Hot Zones marked on any map, even if only one can spawn in a given Hot Zone. They can also spawn in map-specific loot sources such as gold loot ticks (1% chance), Flyers carrying gold death boxes (37.5% chance), gold cargo bots (1% chance) and loot MRVNs after giving them their missing arm (1% chance). Some very specific locations on certain maps also have a high chance of spawning a Fully Kitted Weapon.
Ballistic can equip all weapons that aren't currently in the Care Package in his
Sling, including Fully Kitted Weapons, but they will be converted into Common Fully Kitted variants and their optics cannot be removed. Sling weapons may be upgraded to Rare and Epic Fully Kitted variants if Ballistic takes the
Sling-Shot Upgrade. Removing the weapon from the Sling will return it to its previous state.

Other Modes
- In
Control, all weapons are Rare Fully Kitted Weapons, and can be upgraded to Epic and then Legendary by earning enough Ratings to progress to the next Ratings Tier. Weapon ugrades can be skipped: for example, if a Rare weapon is equipped and Ratings Tier 4 is reached, that weapon will become Legendary.
- In
Gun Run, all weapons are Fully Kitted Weapons, but their rarity varies depending on the weapon.
- In
Team Deathmatch, all weapons are Rare Fully Kitted Weapons. At various points during the match, Care Packages containing two Legendary Fully Kitted Weapons and one Supply Drop Weapon each start dropping into the arena.
- In
Lockdown, all weapons are Rare Fully Kitted Weapons. When a Zone gets captured, two Legendary Fully Kitted Weapons and a Supply Drop Weapon spawn in the middle of it.
- In
Season 5's Hunts, specific Legendary Fully Kitted Weapons were available depending on the chapter.
- In Airdrop Escalation, Rare, Epic, and Legendary Fully Kitted Weapons as well as Supply Drop Weapons may be found inside Care Packages. The color of the Care Package beam changes accordingly based on which type of weapons it contains: blue, purple, gold, red.
- In Armed and Dangerous, Legendary Fully Kitted versions of certain snipers and shotguns may spawn rarely across the map.
- In Gold Rush Duos, all available weapons are Seasonal Legendary Fully Kitted Weapons and Supply Drop Weapons.
- In Quads, Rare and Epic Fully Kitted Weapons may spawn in addition to Seasonal Legendary ones.
- In Straight Shot and Solos, all weapons are Fully Kitted, ranging from Common to Legendary.
- In TDM - Unshielded, all weapons not in the Care Package are Legendary Fully Kitted Weapons.
- During the Rift Relics Takeover, some Legendary Fully Kitted Weapons statistically different than usual, called Relic Weapons, spawn before the Round 1 Ring starts closing.
History
Trivia
- Pistols and Shotguns have their potentially compatible Legendary
Hop-Ups, despite being Epic Fully Kitted Weapons.
- Before
Season 6, in
Battle Royale, Supply Drop Weapons had a golden color just like Fully Kitted Weapons. The term "gold weapon" could refer to either, and they both spawned in Gold Rush Duos, a Limited Time Mode with only gold weapons. The developers later upgraded the rarity and color of Supply Drop Weapons from Legendary (gold) to Mythic (red) to differentiate the two.
